POCANTICO I

The first Democracy Education conference was held in July 2003, organized by CCD to implement the Ministerial Plan of Action and the recommendations of the Non-Governmental Forum of the Seoul Community of Democracies Conference.

Below are the recommendations resulting from the conference in the form of a Global Strategic Plan:

POCANTICO II

The second Democracy Education conference to be held at Pocantico is scheduled for March 18 - 20, 2005 and is entitled, European-American Conference on Democracy Education in the Middle East and Islamic Africa (March 18 - 20, 2005)
