Andreas A. Jobst

Mr. Jobst currently works at the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC), Division for Insurance and Research, Washington D.C. He recently has been a PhD student in finance and economics at Judge Institute of Management Studies at the University of Cambridge and the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE), Financial Markets Group (FMG). He completed his MBA at Oxford University and MA in European Law at the University of Leicester. Mr. Jobst’s non-academic interests include international conflicts involving military intervention and post-war civil-military cooperation, sports, and international affairs. Mr Jobst is a former infantry officer of the German Armed Forces. He was assigned to the German Army Command in Koblenz as liaison officer for KFOR/SFOR (Kosovo and Bosnia), the Liaison Officer and S3 Officer at the 6th Company, Parachute Battalion 261 in Lebach and the newly formed Special Operations Command (DSO) in Regensburg.
