Amelia Augustus

Amelia Augustus was president of Augustus Associates for 25 years, a managerial consulting firm for profit and not-for-profit corporations, program development, LDC development, research, marketing, public relations and public education campaigns. In 2008, Ms. Augustus received the Knight-Bagehot Award for Leadership in Educating the Public about Business and Economics. She also is the founding president of the Women’s Economic Round Table, a foundation that educates the public about national and global economics, business and finance. She served as advisor to Sean MacBride, 1974 Nobel Peace Laureate and was United Nations Representative for Amnesty International as well as Executive Director of Amnesty International-USA.

She received her doctorate in education from Columbia University.
