Prior Leary is a MA student in International Politics at American University’s School of International Service. He grew up in Colorado and completed his undergraduate studies at Carleton College in Minnesota. Between Carleton and American, Prior taught English in China, volunteered in Haiti, and was a program instructor at the Close Up Foundation in Washington, DC.

Prior interned at the Council for a Community of Democracies from September 2005 - May 2006.
