| Malcolm McLean
Malcolm McLean is a graduate of Yale University and earned a master's degree in International Affairs from The George Washingtlon University. He was an officer with the United States Information Agency from 1955 to 1971. He served in Korea, Brazil, the Dominican Republic and Guatemala, as well as four years in Washington. He was a student at the National War College from 1966-67. In 1971, he changed careers and became president of Northland College in Ashland, WI. After 16 years at Northland, he moved to St. Paul,MN, where he has been activie in many organizations. These include the St. Paul-Minneapolis Committee on Foreign Relations, the United Nations Association of Minnesota, and The Upper Midwest Chapter of the American Foreign Service.Association. He has especially devoted time and energy to Compatible Technology International, a non-profit entity seeking to help pepple in poverty in developing countries through food and water enhancement technologies.
