Issues on the Agenda

The discussions focused on the technical points of the preliminary report of the Community of Democracies Non-Governmental Forum.

• The inclusion of issues raised during the regional panels in the final report.
• The adoption of the Soros report as an agenda.

Agreements

1. Participants agreed that the final report of the Community of Democracies should not be a binding document. It is only a report of the discussions.
2. The International Planning Committee Meeting will discuss the matter further and make the final decisions regarding the concerns raised during the plenary session. Revisions need to be submitted to the International Planning Committee by one o’clock.
3. The wording of the signed petitions should not be altered.
4. If not incorporated as an agenda, the Soros report should be at least be attached.
