Bamako Community of Democracies Ministerial Conference Scheduled

The Government of Mali has announced the proposed dates and venue of the Fourth Ministerial Conference of the Community of Democracies as follows:  November 14 through 17, 2007 at the International Convention Center in Bamako, Mali.  The main theme of the Conference will be “Democracy and Development: Poverty as a Challenge to Democratic Transition”. The preliminary outline of the meeting will be as follows:

November 14, 2007:  Senior Official working meeting to revise the final document to be issued at the close of the Conference.

November 15-17, 2007: Fourth Ministerial Conference of the Community of Democracies.
