Mali Ambassador to Co-chair ECOSOC Consultations

Ambassador Cheick Sidi Diarra of Mali and Ambassador Johan C. Verbeke of Belgium have been appointed by President of the General Assembly Jan Elliason to co-chair consultations on Economic and Social Council reforms at the UN.  Mali will host the next ministerial meeting of the Community of Democracies.  Ambassadors Munir Akram of Pakistan and Allan Rock of Canada were tasked to head up the consultations on UN management reform.
