Center

will hold a Global Strategic Planning Conference on Democracy
Education, co-sponsored by the American Forum for Global Education.
The Conference’s objective is to produce a strategic
plan from the dialogue between educators, representatives
of civil society, governments and international organizations.
The plan will seek to assist policymakers better coordinate
and aggressively expand their initiatives to foster civic
education vital to emerging democracy in different cultures
around the world. The conference will be held from June 8-10,
2003 and hosted by the Rockefeller Brothers Fund at its Pocantico
