Taipei Roundtable on Democracy Concludes

The Regional Roundtable for Asia, hosted in Taipei Taiwan, has come to a conclusion. The event marked the second such regional roundtable, following it's predecessor in Africa, hosted in Bamako, Mali. Under a UNDEF grant, the Council for a Community of Democracies has been organizing these roundtables in the five regions of the world to strengthen the network of civil society. These roundtables assist in the non-governmental process of the Community of Democracies, and is leading up to the CD Ministerial in November.
