Jack Buechner

Jack Beuchner is the President and Chief Executive officer of Presidential Classroom, an education program teaching the value of public policy making and civic responsibility to promising high school students. He also sits as President of the Association of Former Members of Congress, as well as serves on the Board Of Directors. Mr. Buechner represented Missouri in the United States House of Representatives from 1987-1991. While a member of the 100th Congress he served the Republican leadership as Vice-Chairman of the Republican Study Committee and as Deputy Whip. He served on the Budget Committee and the Committee on Science, Space and Technology. Following his service in Congress he served as President of the International Republican Institute and is a former partner in the law firm Manatt, Phelps and Phillips.
