Charles Heck

Mr. Heck was North American Director of the Trilateral Commission for almost twenty years (1982-2001) and now serves the Commission as a Senior Adviser and Member.  In the spring of 2005, he was a visiting professor of political science at Principia College in Illinois .  Educated at Oberlin College and Yale University , Mr. Heck worked as a Teaching Fellow at Yale and for the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace before joining the Trilateral staff in 1974 as Assistant to the Commission's founding Director, Zbigniew Brzezinski.
