Robert Hunter, Chairman

Mr. Hunter, teacher, scholar, author, and diplomat, served as U.S. Ambassador to NATO from 1993-98 and at the same time, represented the U.S. to the Western European Union. He is currently Senior Advisor at the RAND Corporation in Washington D.C. He co-founded the Center for National Policy, helped organize the National Endowment for Democracy and was Vice President for International Politics and Director of European Studies at the Center for Strategic and International Studies in Washington. He has served on the National Security Council as Director for West European Affairs (1977-79) and has been an advisor to Congress and the President on numerous occasions.
