Max M Kampelman

Mr. Kampelman has been a scholar, lawyer, educator, author and diplomat. His extensive diplomatic career includes serving as U.S. Ambassador to the Conference on Security and Cooperation in Europe from 1980-83 and as Ambassador and Head of Delegation to the Negotiations on Nuclear and Space Arms from 1985-89. He has also served as Counselor of the U.S. Department of State and Ambassador and Head of Delegation to the Copenhagen Meeting of the Conference on the Human Dimensions of CSCE.
