W. Sewell
Mr. Sewell,
for over two decades, was President of the Overseas Development
Council where he oversaw policy research and analysis on U.S.
development interests. He has written extensively on the reform
of the American foreign aid program. He has lectured frequently
at major universities, government agencies and private institutions
and has often testified at the request of the US Congress.
He is a member of the Bretton Woods Committee and serves on
advisory panels of the World Resources Institute, the Carter
Center, the Kellogg Institute at the University of Notre Dame
and World Hunger Year. Earlier in his career Mr. Sewell worked
at the Brookings Institution and as a Foreign Service Office
of the Department of State.
